I am a childminder in the Fryerns, Basildon area, with an outdoor learning ethos. I do not do school wrap around and focus only on the early years children in my care.
I am Ofsted registered 'Good' childcare provider and have an up to date paediatric first aid training, designated safeguarding training and my level 3 CACHE in preschool practice, along with various additional childcare qualifications.
I have various experiences in nurserys from nursery nurse, room leader to deputy manager, before moving on to opening TLC in 2018 to have a more hands on and outdoor approach to childrens learning.

Tori's Loving Childcare caters to each individual child's needs. First opened in 2018 in the Fryerns area of Basildon, Essex, and last Ofsted inspected 19th July 2022 and graded 'GOOD'.
Tori's Loving Childcare offers a great alternative to other childcare providers, as we cater our curriculum through our ethos of outdoor learning, we are a forest childcare provider, under the forest childcare association, giving children amazing opportunities in local woodlands and wide open spaces to create, explore and learn; as well as care from the comfort of our own home, to balance experiences and help children to reach their full potential.
we are fully qualified and have over 15 years experience in early years care and development, and will nurture children to become the best possible version of themselves.

Here at Toris Loving Childcare, we believe that all children can learn in their own way and can explore and express their style of learning how they see fit, we are simply here to help nurture, encourage and expand their learning as they play. A child can learn to draw with a pencil and paper, but can also learn with a stick and some mud, or a sheet hanging from a tree, it doesn't have to be at a table to learn, there are no confines to their learning here!

Arrangements can be made with prior agreement, to accommodate parents working shifts / flexible hours.
Additionally, if childcare is required at an earlier time than the above hours, this can be discussed and agreed as appropriate, I do not work past 5pm.

Overnight care or weekend care is not available.
After talking to parents I have found that it is normal to charge extra fees for activities and entrance fees for local outings, treats, play groups, farms, etc. TLC does not charge for the above extras. This ensures that parents only pay their monthly fee each month and do not get any surprises with 'hidden costs'. All outings and treats are included in my hourly fee, children on 3/4 years ago funding are charged a monthly fee to cover the cost of this, which will vary depending on days used, all additional cost will be discussed prior to signing up and voluntary.

Childcare cost help and support:
Funding - funding is accepted 9m - 4 years, 15/30 hours, term time only.
Universal Credit - most lower income families on UC can save up to 85% of childcare costs through UC.
Tax Free Childcare - parents not on UC can likely pay through tax free childcare account, this saves families £2 for every £10 of fees (the government top up £2 for every £8 you pay) up to £2000 per year, per child, until 12 years of age.

Childcare Vouchers - Childcare Vouchers allow employers to help their employees with the cost of childcare. Childcare Vouchers are exempt from National Insurance Contributions (NICs) and Income Tax for employees up to a certain value per week. All employers are able to run a childcare voucher scheme and employers do make considerable savings too. These vouchers don't have to be used in the week they are received, you could save them up for school holidays.
